Senior Vice President, Constituent Engagement
Steve Rice is Senior Vice President of Constituent Engagement. Under Steve’s leadership, DDC offers clients high-intensity campaigns that maneuver quickly and shift tactics rapidly, all toward a singular purpose: victory. Steve collaborates closely with clients to design the most effective localized approaches to gain traction and momentum on each issue. He also partners with and manages more than 400 field operatives in all 50 states—a multi-skilled, bipartisan group with deep political experience.
Before joining DDC in 2010, Steve served as Director of Public Affairs at the Food Allergy Initiative. He was also the President of East-West Advocacy, an independent consultancy specializing in multi-state public affairs campaigns. Prior to that, Steve managed numerous grassroots campaigns at Mercury Public Affairs for clients ranging from national retailers to pro-business organizations.
Steve also worked in California politics for 10 years, managing campaigns for three U.S. representatives, as well as ballot initiatives at the state and local levels.
Steve earned his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his B.S. from Penn’s Wharton School of Business. He serves as Vice President of the American Association of Political Consultants, Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
